Registration

Registration for SNAPL is now open!
The per person total of $1476.64 (single occupancy) includes the 3-night stay (accommodations) beginning on May 7th, 3 meals per day, conference costs, and ALL applicable fees & taxes. The cost per room is roughly $200 per night for single occupancy. Our agreement with the venue is for only a bundled package but we broke down the costs as best we could to provide some information on per night room costs. Double occupancy and guest rates also include all meals and conference costs (except alcohol).

Driving Directions to Asilomar

From San Francisco / San Jose

Asilomar is approximately 120 miles south of downtown San Francisco (about 105 miles from San Francisco International Airport) and about 75 miles south of San Jose. Take 101 south to 156 West. Take 156 West to Highway 1 South, through Monterey to the Pebble Beach/Pacific Grove exit, turn right on Holman Highway (68 West). Stay on Holman Highway (68 West) for 3.5 miles until it becomes a city street called Forest Avenue. Continue on Forest Avenue for about 1 mile and make a left turn onto Sinex Avenue. In just under 1 mile, Sinex Avenue ends right at the front gates to Asilomar.

From Los Angeles

Asilomar is approximately 325 miles from downtown Los Angeles (about 310 miles from LAX). Take 101 North though Salinas to 156 West. Take 156 West to Highway 1 South, through Monterey to the Pebble Beach/Pacific Grove exit, and Highway 68 West. For about 3-1/2 miles you will then be on a portion of Highway 68 West that is also called the Holman Highway. Stay on Highway 68 West/Holman Highway until it becomes a city street called Forest Avenue. Continue on Forest Avenue for about 1 mile and make a left turn onto Sinex Avenue. In just under 1 mile, Sinex Avenue ends right at the front gates to Asilomar.

Check-in

We will have registration set-up at the Fred Farr Forum, so there is no need to go to the main lobby to check-in. A map of Asilomar's grounds can be found here.

Check-in time is 4:00pm on Sunday, May 7. Guests arriving after Sunday should pick up their room keys at the front desk of the Social Hall main lobby.

Parking

Parking is open on a first come, first served basis. Parking Lot D is the closest parking lot to both our meeting space and lodging. There are multiple parking lots on Asilomar's grounds, as well as free street parking with Sinex Avenue being the closest street to our area. See the map for parking lot and street parking locations.
